We had a lovely stay for one night and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with a great selection of beers and the delicious Steak Pie! The hotel also had a nice garden for relaxing and a small pet-friendly lounge area, which was perfect for unwinding. Just a heads-up, the bed was a bit uneven, but it didn't ruin our overall experience. 😊

We had a wonderful time exploring the nearby Grosmont, just a short walk from the hotel. The kids loved seeing all the wildlife, and it felt refreshing to have our large breed dog join us in such cozy surroundings. Breakfast featuring local produce was a delightful start to our day.
My kids wished for a better play area outside, something to keep them entertained while we relaxed.
